Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:30 and 9:00 – Step beyond the traditional ghost tour and become part of the investigation. Join experienced guides for an interactive paranormal investigation inside Fort William Henry, one of Lake George’s most historic and reportedly haunted locations. Using a variety of investigative tools, participants will explore areas connected to centuries of military conflict, disease, and unexplained experiences.

Rather than simply listening to stories, guests take an active role by conducting experiments, operating equipment, and searching for potential paranormal activity throughout the fort’s historic, low-light spaces. Guides provide historical context, demonstrate investigative techniques, and help interpret any findings along the way.

Every investigation is unique, unscripted, and driven by real-time exploration. While unexplained experiences are possible, no paranormal activity or specific outcomes can be guaranteed.


Included

Working alongside your guide and fellow investigators, you’ll use Spirit Boxes, Dowsing Rods, EMF Detectors, REM Pods, Cat Balls, Infrared Thermometers, and other tools to conduct your own investigation while learning about the people who lived, worked, fought, and died at Fort William Henry.

Recommended for ages 12 and older. Guests under 14 must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.

Comfortable footwear suitable for historic surfaces and stairs
Camera or recording device for documenting the investigation
A notebook to record your findings and notes


Special requirements

Guests under 14 must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian. Private groups require a minimum of four guests. Smaller groups may be combined with other investigators.

Restrictions

Disruptive behavior, intoxication, smoking, vaping, unsafe conduct, or harassment of staff, spirits or other guests will result in removal from the program without refund.
No pets.

This is not a haunted house; there are no actors, jump scares, staged effects, or fabricated encounters. Every investigation is different and paranormal activity cannot be guaranteed. Portions of the experience take place in low-light conditions and on historic surfaces. Some investigation areas require stairs and may not be fully accessible.


FAQs

May I bring my own equipment?
Yes, but check with the guides on duty first. Some items may be considered disruptive or dangerous. Kit fee still applies.

What if it rains?
We are rain or moon-shine. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

May I bring my dog?
No pets allowed in the Fort after 5:00 or on close quarters tours/events.

What if I don’t believe in any of this?
That’s okay. You’re still welcome to participate. We encourage a healthy skepticism but please remain respectful to all.
