Join independent historian and author Marie Williams for a special presentation celebrating the release of her third book with Arcadia Publishing, The French and Indian War in the Adirondacks. Marie will discuss the research behind the book, the history of the French and Indian War in the Adirondack region, and the stories that shaped this important period in American history.
Following the presentation, guests are invited to stay for a meet-and-greet, where they can speak with the author and have their books signed.
About the Author
Marie Williams is an independent historian based in Upstate New York and the author of three books published by Arcadia Publishing. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Adolescent Education from The College of Saint Rose and a Master of Arts in American History from Southern New Hampshire University. Marie is an active member of several regional and national historical organizations and is also the creator and host of The Half-Pint Historian Podcast.
