The Lake George Battlefield Park Alliance, in partnership with the Warren County Commission for the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution, is proud to host a special series of activities on Friday, December 12, honoring Henry Knox’s legendary 1775 journey through the Lake George region.
This commemorative event highlights Knox’s remarkable effort to transport 60 tons of desperately needed artillery from Fort Ticonderoga to General George Washington’s forces in Boston. The achievement that ultimately compelled the British to evacuate the city.
